Vietnam to receive 1 million more vaccine doses from Japan

Hanoi (VNA) – One million doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccinedonated by Japan are expected to be delivered to Vietnam on July 1 and July 8,the Ministry of Health said on June 29.
Plus another one million doses already delivered onJune 16, Japan has to date presented 2 million doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19vaccine to Vietnam.
“Japan’s donation of vaccines to Vietnam is a testament for theprofound friendship between the two countries,” the Japanese Embassy in Vietnamsaid in a statement on June 25.
The vaccine doses will help Vietnam fight against the COVID-19pandemic./.
