Vietnam, US seek stronger medical cooperation

HCM City (VNA) – Representatives from hospitals🅠, pharmaceutical and medical equipment firms, and health research and training establishments of the US joined their Vietnamese counterparts at a workshop in Ho Chi Minh City on April 14. 

The event was organised by the US Consulate General in HCM City, the Defence Ministry’s Military Hospital 175, and the municipal Department of Health, reported the Quan doi nhan dan newspaper.

It offered an opportunity for participants to discuss cooperation in health care, scientific research, medical training and practice, military medical connections, health care equipment supply and international-standard hospital development.

US representatives said Vietnam’s international integration efforts, especially in health care, have helped strengthen medi🌸cal connections between agencies and companies operating in the field from both sides.-VNA
