Vietnamese artists have triumphed at the Circuba international circus festival held in Cuba’s capital city Havana from June 25 – July 2.

 Havana (VNA) – Vietnamese artists have triumphed at the Circubainternational circus festival held in Cuba’s capital city Havana from June 25 –July 2. Using sophisticated techniques and Vietnamese characteristics such asbamboos and traditional folk music, the aerobatics performance “Canh chim Viet”(Vietnamese wings) by Ngoc Anh and Thu Thuy artists, delighted spectators and jurists,winning a gold medal, the highest prize at the event. The festival allows Vietnam’s circus performers to enhance their skillswhile promoting their homeland to international friends, said Hoang Minh Khanh,Headmaster of the Vietnam Circus Art and Vaudevilla School. The Circuba festival is the world’s third biggest annual circus competition.This year’s event brought together 34 performances from 16 countries across theworld.-VNA
