Vietnamese artists showcase works in Thailand

Three Vietnamese artists are showcasing their paintings at the 15th Art Exhibition of International Visual Artists Association of Thailand in Bangkok.

Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - Three Vietnamese artists are showcasing theirpaintings at the 15th Art Exhibition of International Visual ArtistsAssociation of Thailand in Bangkok.

The exhibition is organised by the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, incollaboration with the International Visual Artists Association of Thailand, topromote understanding of contemporary art and culture among people.

The event will feature around 200 paintings in various mediums and in manystyles by 185 artists from different countries such as Thailand, Vietnam,Singapore, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, Canada and China.

Vietnamese artists Viet Thi Kim Quyen, Ly Khac Nhu and Ly Chanh Van exhibit apainting each.

Quyen showcases the beauty of blue jacaranda flowers in the resort city of DaLat, the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, in her acrylic painting Summerof Love Flowers.

Quyen, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam Fine Arts Associations, hastaken part in numerous solo exhibitions in Vietnam and many countries since2009.

Meanwhile, Nhu and Van, who are also members of the HCM City and Vietnam FineArts Associations, brought exhibition paintings in hot and cold coloursreflecting the beauty of life.

The exhibition will be held at the Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Centre untilAugust 30./.

V🐭ietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Conventionᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ’s Intergovernmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee. The outcome shows the trust and recognition that member states have given Vietnam for its efforts and achievements in carrying out and promoting the Convention, as well as for its active role, strong standing, and growing credibility at UNESCO.

Exhibition features President Ho Chi Minh as founde🗹r of Vietnam’s revolutionary press

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.

Vietnam take silver in AFF U19 Final
