Vietnamese culture promoted in Japan

The Vietnamese Consulate General in Fukuoka, Japan, in conjunction with the association of Vietnamese students studying at Asia Pacific University (APU) in Oita prefecture organised a “Vietnamese Culture Week 2014” from June 30-July 4.

With traditional foods and folkgames, and fashion shows, the event offered a chance for local peopleand international friends to get an insight of Vietnam’s culturalidentity.

Organised from 2003, the week aims to promote Vietnamese culture in many countries across the world.

This year’s event in Japan was considered as a diplomatic cultureevent, contributing to forging cultural links between the twocountries.-VNA

Exhibition features President Ho Chi Minh as founder🅘 of Vietnam’s revolutionary press

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
