Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - Vietnamese fashion designer Dang Phuong Minhhas unveiled an exclusive haute couture collection during a fashion show in TelAviv, Israel.
The show held at the invitation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel was amongthe numerous activities of the Vietnamese Days in Israel.
Taking place on Monday at the Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance and Theatre, theshow presented the creations from the My Lullaby Resort 2022 collection of thedesigner. All creations were constructed by hand from start to finish and madefrom high-quality silk.
“Through this collection, I want all my international friends to know thatVietnamese fashion includes not only the ao dai (traditional long dress).Craftsmanship, together with the artistic ideas that were forged throughgenerations, has resulted in delicate and refined creations,” said designerMinh, who is also the Creative Director of her own fashion brand My Lullaby.
Exclusively created for the show in Tel Aviv, the collection was constructed byhand from start to finish, sewn with extreme attention to detail and finishedby the most experienced and capable sewers, using time-consuming andhand-executed techniques.
“It can be said the art of craftsmanship has turned each creation into anartwork,” she said.
The designer explained the vibrant and energetic colours of the collectionsymbolise a liberal spirit, embodying the friendly relationship between ViệtNam and Israel.
Pham Minh Trang, spouse of the Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel, said: “I havespent many years living in Mediterranean countries and I fell in love with themagnificent landscape of the region, as well as the open-minded local people.As soon as I saw the first creations of the My Lullaby Resort 2022 collection,with vibrant colours inspired by the Mediterranean region, I believed that thecollection would make a strong impression on audiences in Israel. That's why Idecided to invite designer Dang Phuong Minh to showcase her collection in TelAviv."

Vietnamese contemporary art projects have been showcased for the first time at the annual London Design Biennale that opened in London, the UK, on September 3 under the theme Emotional States.
This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee. The outcome shows the trust and recognition that member states have given Vietnam for its efforts and achievements in carrying out and promoting the Convention, as well as for its active role, strong standing, and growing credibility at UNESCO.
Quang Duc pottery is known for its wide range of forms, including wine bottles, jars, lime pots, vases, plant pots, incense burners and candle stands. Decorative motifs are equally rich, featuring mythical creatures, pastoral scenes, floral patterns, deer, peacocks, bats and more.
Vietnam’s cinematic appeal lies in its diverse settings, from terraced mountains and limestone karsts to bustling markets and ancient towns. Its mix of ethnic vibes, buzzing street life, and old traditions gives directors a goldmine for storytelling.
The Vietnamese team will gather on June 26 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, where they will train until July 14 before departing for Indonesia for the ASEAN U23 Championship 2025, which runs from July 15 to 29. Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22 in the group stage.
The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
For the first time, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has granted Vietnam hosting rights for the two championships, including the Asian women’s solo category, which debuts this year as an officially recognised event.
Eight teams will join the tournament, divided into two groups. Group A features Vietnam, the Philippines, Sichuan Club (China), and Australia, while Group B consists of Vietnam U21, Korabelka Club (Russia), Taiwan (China), and U21 Thailand.
