The Vietnamese embassy in Beijing, China hosted a ceremony on August 18 to celebrate the 70 th Traditional Day of the Vietnam People’s Pubic Security Force (August 19) and the 10 th anniversary of the “All people protect national security” festival. Addressing the event, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Van Tho said the Vietnam People’s Public Security Force has grown in stature over the past 70 years with a great deal of achievements contributing to national liberation and development.
He hailed the ever-growing cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Chinese Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of State Security in the fight against organised, trans-national, terrorism, cyber, drug and human trafficking crimes, contributing to each country’s security and order, particularly in border areas. On behalf of the Representative Office of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security in China, Colonel Do Van Thiet said ensuring political stability and social safety and order is a noble and tough task of the Vietnam People’s Public Security Force amid the currently complicated security developments in the region and the world. On the occasion, a number of sports competitions were also held to celebrate the event.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
