EightEuropean countries, namely Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Poland,Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Israel will also attend the festival.
Vietnamese documentaries screened at the event touch upon socialissues relating to war memories, culture in daily life, farming life andpoverty reduction in Vietnam.
Audiences will have a chance to enjoy one Vietnamese and one European documentary film each evening. A special film series will also screen contributions from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand.
The films will be screened free of charge in Hanoi from June 10-19 and in Ho Chi Minh City from June 11-20.-VNA
