Vietnamese firm active in charitable work in Cambodia

Phnom Penh (VNA) – Golden LandCambodia Group (GLCG), one of Vietnamese real estate enterprises operating in Cambodia,presented 400 gift packages to disadvantaged locals and Vietnamese expatriates livingin the country at a ceremony in Phnom Penh on July 9.

This is part of GLCG’s activities to implement its commitment to ensuringsocial security in Cambodia.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the General Association of Vietnamese inCambodia Chau Van Chi and Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese in PhnomPenh Huynh Minh Phu hailed the group for this activity, saying that it helped promotethe relations between the two countries.

Along with other Vietnamese businesses operating in Cambodia, GLCG has made activecontributions to local economic development and charitable work.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
