Brussels (VNA) – More than 300Vietnamese in Belgium gathered in the capital city of Brussels on February 10to celebrate the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival.
Addressing the event, President of the General Association of Vietnamese inBelgium Huynh Cong My noted his wish that Vietnamese in the country will unitewith each other to protect and promote Vietnamese culture, and integrate intothe host society.
Ambassador Vu Anh Quang affirmed the Vietnamese State’s consistent policy ofconsidering the Vietnamese community abroad an integral part of the nation.
Fadila Laanan, minister in charge of culture of the French community ofBelgium, expressed her delight when joining the celebration and exploringVietnamese culture.
