Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese communities in Cambodia and Egypt are celebrating the traditionalNew Year, which falls on January 28.

Vietnam’sEmbassy in Egypt on January 28 organised a gathering for Vietnamese in Egyptand northern African countries to celebrate the traditional New Year.

Speaking at theevent, Vietnam’s Ambassador to Egypt Do Hoang Long reviewed key points in theEgypt-Vietnam relationship as well as the bilateral relationship in the pastyear.

He was pleasedthat Vietnamese in Egypt always assist each other and look forwards to thehomeland.

Vietnam hosts Asian Muay Thai Championship f𒅌or first time

Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’sꦯ Intergovernmental Committee
