Hong Kong (VNA) – The Vietnamese nationals in theMacau Special Administrative Region (China) held a meeting on October 22 tocelebrate the 87th anniversary of Vietnam Women’s Day (October 20).
Speaking at the event, Chairwoman of the Mutual SupportFellow-Countrymen Association in Macau Tran Thi Thu reviewed the glorioustradition of Vietnamese women in the fight against foreign invaders.
She expressed her wish that the Vietnamese community,especially women, in Macau will support each other to enrich their families andthe homeland.
On the occasion, she also launched a fundraising campaign insupport of victims of the recent floods at home.
