Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Defence Minister, Sen. Lieut. Gen Tran Don hosted areception in Hanoi on August 22 for Director of the General LogisticsDepartment of the Lao People’s Armed Forces Vongkham Phommakone. 

Theofficers agreed that under the direction of the defence ministries, the generallogistics departments have effectively partnered in ensuring military suppliesand equipment for Lao military trainees and officials during their long-termtraining in Vietnam.

Phommakoneinformed the host about the outcomes of his talks with the General LogisticsDepartment of the Vietnam People’s Army, during which both sides have agreed towork closely together in long-term training for Lao side.

As scheduled, the guest will visit and exchange professionalexperience with several relevant units.-VNA
