It was stated by Lao DeputyPrime Minister Asang Laoly and Deputy Inspector General Nguyen ChienBinh at their meeting in Vientiane on October 21.
Binh briefedhis host of Vietnam’s socio-economic situation and the outcomes of histalks with the Lao Government Inspectorate, saying he is satisfied withbilateral cooperation over the past time.
Deputy PM Laoly saidthe cooperation between the two Inspectorates has helped the twoGovernments prevent and fight corruption and handle petitions lodged bycitizens.
He said he hopes both sides will work closely together to nurture the special Vietnam – Laos ties.
