Vietnamese-owned company presents 600 COVID-19 test kits to Moldova

Farmacia Orient, a Vietnamese-owned company, has presented 600 made-in-Germany COVID-19 test kits to the National Public Health Agency of Moldova.

- Farmacia Orient, a Vietnamese-owned company, has presented 600made-in-Germany COVID-19 test kits to the National Public Health Agency ofMoldova.

Arepresentative from the firm said the pandemic is spreading in almost allcountries around the world, including Moldova.  The number of infectioncases in the eastern European country is increasing day by day. 

Accordingto the Moldovan government's estimate, as of May 2020, more than 30,000 peopleof the country’s total 3 million might be infected with the novel coronavirusSARS-CoV-2.

Giventhat situation, Farmacia Orient wants to contribute its efforts in helping thelocal government, hospitals and health facilities to cope with COVID-19 bydonating the test kits.     

Preventivemeasures applied by the Moldovan government, especially quarantine solutions,have been proving effective, according to the company.

Fortheir part, Moldovan authorities and representatives of the National PublicHealth🌊 Agency thanked the Vietnamese firm for its practical support, which theysaid, has helped reinforce local trust in winning the fight against COVID-19./.
