Vietnamese photographers win prizes at Spanish photo contest

Vietnamese photographer To Thi Anh Bach won the gold medal at Spain’s competition Biennial International Digital Photojournalism 2021 in the category of photos on COVID-19, for her photo entitled “Xet nghiem COVID cho tre em” (Conducting COVID-19 testing on children).

Hanoi (VNA)– Vietnamese photographer To Thi Anh Bach won the gold medal at Spain’s competition Biennial International Digital Photojournalism 2021 in the category of photos on COVID-19, for her photo entitled “Xet nghiem COVID cho tre em” (Conducting COVID-19 testing on children).
Photographer Viet Van from Lao Dong (Labour) newspaper also brought home an honourary certificate from the competition for his single image titled “Do thannhiet” (body temperature check) in the same category.
The photo features astudent at To Hoang Primary School in Hanoi, who is having her body temperaturechecked before entering the school after days of staying at home due toCOVID-19 pandemic.

Three other photosof Viet Van also entered the finalist and are published in the competition’scatalogue.

The contest includes three categories of single photos,series photos and photos on COVID-19.

The highest prize came to famous Belgium photojournalist AlainSchroeder./.
