Vietnamese student festival opens in RoK

The Vietnamese Embassy in the Republic of Korea (RoK) and the Vietnamese Students’ Association in Korea (VSAK) hosted the seventh Vietnamese Students’ Festival in the capital city of Seoul on Oct. 9.

Tran Hai Linh, VSAK Chairman said that over the past time, VSAK hascoordinated with RoK’s organisations to support Vietnamese communityliving in the country, including opening courses on Vietnamese languageand culture for multi-cultural families in Seoul, Incheon and Ansancities.

This activity will be expanded in other regions nationwide in the near future, Linh added.

Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK, Tran Trong Toan, said he hoped VSAKwill continue playing a key role in popularising information aboutVietnam to international friends in the future, along with theAssociation of Overseas Vietnamese in the RoK./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
