Vietnamese to head management team at Asian Cup finals

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said on January 6 that its Vice Chairman Tran Quoc Tuan has been appointed as head of the management team of the upcoming 2015 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup finals, scheduled to take place in Canberra, Australia, from January 9-31.

AFC also assigned VFF General Secretary Le Hoai Anh as a member of the tourney’s supervisory board.

TranQuoc Tuan currently serves as Vice Chairman of the AFC CompetitionsCommittee and a member of the Futsal Committee of the InternationalFederation of Football Associations (FIFA).

In 2014, he wasassigned as head of the management team of men’s and women’s football atthe Asian Games in the Republic of Korea. Tuan was also the first Asianappointed to the management board of the FIFA Futsal World Cup finalsin Thailand in 2012.-VNA
