Vietnam’s high-ranking military delegation visits Myanmar
A high-ranking military delegation of Vietnam led by Sen. Lieut. Gen. Phan Van Giang, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy Minister of National Defence left Hanoi on September 24 for an official visit to Myanmar.

Hanoi (VNA) – Ahigh-ranking military delegation of Vietnam led by Sen. Lieut. Gen. Phan VanGiang, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy Ministerof National Defence left Hanoi on September 24 for an official visit toMyanmar.
The four-day visit is being madeat the invitation of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander-in-Chief of theMyanmar Armed Forces.
The two sides will share experiencein personnel training, defence industry and military medicine.
They will also review the resultsof cooperation and discuss ways to boost bilateral defence ties in the comingtime, thus helping to strengthen the comprehensive cooperative partnershipbetween the two countries and armies./.
The Vietnam-Myanmar Joint Committee for Bilateral Cooperation held its ninth meeting in Hanoi on March 12, during which its members shared the view that the countries’ comprehensive cooperative partnership is becoming increasingly substantive.
