Participants elaboratedthat Vietnam set up relations with kingdoms and cultural and economichubs in Asia due to its proximity to a key commercial navigation routein Southeast Asia, enabling it to serve as a bridge linking SoutheastAsia and Northeast Asia. People of the Dai Viet,Champa, and Oc Eo-Phu Nam civilisations and different dynasties inVietnam’s history enhanced trade with regional countries and exported avariety of products.
Vietnamese porcelain and otherproducts have been discovered at many ports, archaeological sites, andhistorical and cultural relics in Southeast Asian, Northeast Asian, andSouthwest countries as well as faraway seas, scientists said.
At the workshop, they also discussed Vietnam’s occupation andexploitation of seas and islands, research findings and the study andutilisation of maritime archaeological heritage. The function was held by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities under the Vietnam National University - Hanoi.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
