Vietnam’s Top Brands 2014 were announced on October 25 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam’s Top Brands 2014 were announced by the Institute of EconomicResearch and the Global Trade Alliance- Global GTA (UK) at a ceremonyheld on October 25 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The named enterprises included such big players as Vinamilk, Sasco, Viettel, AIA, SaigonBus, Haco and Merino.

The award recipients must ensure the application of internationalstandard-quality management system, the recognisability and thepopularity of their brand, the credibility, trust and respect for thebrand from society as well as overall management capacity in cooperationprocess and trade alliance.

Top Brands 2014 will encourage thehonoured enterprises to seek to constantly better their operations andsharpen their competitive edge in the domestic and global playinggrounds.-VNA

𒅌 Maximum fine of 3,000 USD proposed for violating invoice regulations

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
