Hanoi (VNA) – Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Groupplans to hire around 500 IT engineers every year.

The company said it pays engineers a starting salary of 1,000 USD, 15 percenthigher than the industry average.

Nguyen Thanh Nam, the company’s deputy general director, said Viettel has beena pioneer in applying new technologies in the world and that was the reason forits constant requirement for more human resources in new areas.

“We are in need of human resources for big projects in Big Data, artificialintelligence (AI), aerospace technology, and applied mathematics.”

“Young people have the opportunity to become directors of product groups andViettel offices in provinces and cities as well as aboard after just one year.”

Viettel is one of the best places to work in Vietnam IT sector, according tothe latest study by jobs company Anphabe and market research company Intage. Itseeks to become a leader of the digital transformation process in Vietnam, andhas poured a lot of money into products, services, and solutions required fore-government and smart cities.-VNA
