Vinh Phuc has all communes meet new-style rural area standards

All communes in the northern province of Vinh Phuc have met new-style rural area standards, and two have fulfilled advanced standards for new-style rural areas, according to the provincial People’s Committee.

Vinh Phuc, (VNA) – All communes in the northern province of Vinh Phuc have met new-style rural area standards, and two have fulfilled advanced standards for new-style rural areas, accordi🅠ng to the provincial People’s Committee.   

Meanwhile, four out of the province’s nine districts have earned the title of new-style rural area.
To maintain the achievement and work towards advanced standards, Vinh Phuc will continue to perfect policies and mechanisms to mobilise all resources for agricultural and rural development. It will issue specific policies to support agricultural restructuring and new-style rural area building.
At the same time, the province will promote the development of industry and services, especially the processing industry, and mechanization in agricultural production, while facilitating investment in farm produce production chain. The provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has proposed the provincial People’s Committee provide supplementary funding for specific purpose to localities to help with their efforts to meet advanced new-style rural area standards. The province is aiming to have at least 50 percent of its communes meet the advanced standards and 30 percent of all the villages become model rural areas./.
