VNPT, Microsoft collaborate in IT projects

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and US-based Microsoft on July 7 inked a Memorandum of Understandi꧋ng on strategic cooperation in cloud computing, cyber securit🍸y and smart city.

Accordingly, Microsoft will help the state-owned firm develop and deliver cloud computing-based services and ensure cyber security. It also assists VNPT in “smart city” project through Microsoft CityNext initiative to bring innovation to cities and provinces across Vietnam, including smart health services, smart transportation, smart tourism and smart e-government. The two companies will together develop annual plans for cooperation and establish a working group to implement the agreed plans.-VNA

PM calls for cooperation wi✨th Sweden in nuclear energy technology

The PM revealed Vietnam’s plan to develop nuclear power in the near future, and called on the Swedish side to assist Vietnam in developing and refining legal and policy frameworks for the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes; training and developing human resources; ensuring nuclear safety; and conducting training and drills to improve incident management capabilities.
