Vung Tau to host kite festival

Vung Tau city in the southern province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau will host the sixth International Kite Festival 2015 from April 21-27.
Vung Tau city in the southern province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau will hostthe sixth International Kite Festival 2015 from April 21-27.

Nearly 150 artists from 22 countries and territories will participate inthe festival, themed "Flying with Vietnam". Several activitiesincluding kite flying competitions and a training course on making kiteswill be held during the event.

Earlier, the Vietnam Art Kite Festival 2015 was held in Vung Tau on February 28 and March 1.

Vung Tau city is well-known nationwide for its tourism and beautifulbeaches. Bordered by the sea on three sides, the city has beautifulmountains, thermal springs, pagodas, and other cultural relics.-VNA
