A ceremony to publicise the Russian language ediꦰtion of Dang Thuy Tram’s diary took place in Moscow on Septembﷺer 20.

Ambassado🌊r Pham Xuan Son, sai🔯d that the diary is a memoir of doctor and soldier Tram who sacrificed herself for national unification when fighting off foreign invaders.

Son said he hopes that the publication will help co💫nnect the literary communities of both countries, which will help increase mutual und🔯erstanding and reinforce the traditional friend🎐ship between both nations.

Russian people attending the ceremon🦩y said that it gave them a better insight into the Vietnamese people’s optimism and belief in victory.

Over 3,500 copies of the edition were offered as gifts to the Russian public and so far the diary has bee🐼n translated into 18 langꦰuages.-VNA
