White House announces no joint statement issued at DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit

The second summit between US President Donald Trump and leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un ended without any joint statement being issued, according to the White House.

Hanoi (VNA) – The secondsummit between US President Donald Trump and leader of the Democratic People’sRepublic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un ended without any joint statement beingissued, according to the White House.

The office further said the subsequent meetings between the two leaders willtake place in the future.

They did not have lunch together as originally scheduled.

Also, Trump’s press conference,originally scheduled for 3:50 p.m, will now take place at 2 p.m. He will returnhome right after the conference. -VNA
