ﷺ– The sixthInternational Day of Yoga (June 21) will be celebrated across the country fromJune 21-28 under the theme “Yoga from Home”.

TheEmbassy of India this year has been supporting International Day of Yoga eventsin Hanoi and Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Ninh Thuan, Phu Yen and Thanh Hoa provinces. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic,the embassy and the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre have been promoting yogaonline with webinars on 'yoga asanas' and best daily lifestyle practices. Thevideo blogging contest 'My Life My Yoga' has also been launched. Participantsnationwide performing yoga asanas and upload their videos and photos on theembassy’s social media platforms. The three best entries will receive a prizefrom the embassy. These videos will also be considered for the global contestbeing organised by the Indian government. The main event will take placenear the world famous Ha Long Bay with the collaboration of Quang Ninh ProvincePeople’s Committee on June 21. The event will be live-streamed on the embassy’ssocial media platforms to take the event to thousands of yoga enthusiastsand encourage them to join the celebrations remotely./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
