Bringing Vietnam–New Zealand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to new heights

Vietnam and New Zealand are celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations in 2025, marking a journey from friendship to deeper cooperation. Over the past five years, the two countries have advanced their Strategic Partnership (2020–2025), culminating in the upgrade to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in February 2025. This milestone reflects the growing depth of bilateral ties, serving the interests of both peoples and contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and prosperity in the region and beyond.
