British-owned cruise ship docks at Quy Nhon port

This is the first ship of this rating to dockat the port and the first large tour group to arrive in the province in2013.

Minerva began its voyage from Hong Kong. Itstopped at Hai Phong, Ha Long and Da Nang before arriving in QuyNhon, and will continue to Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City beforedeparting for Cambodia .

Binh Dinh’s tourismsector has seen significant development in recent years. Director of theprovincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Van Trong Hungsaid that the number of tourists visiting the province in 2012 increasedby 24 percent, and tourism revenue rose by over 30 percent.-VNA
