Hanoi (VNA) – A cold spell has reached northeasternprovinces and some areas in north-central provinces since April 7 morning, making thetemperature drop to 18-21 degrees Celsius, according to the National Centre forHydro-Meteorological Fore𓂃casting.

Some northern mountainous areas can see temperature of under 17degrees Celsius at the weekend. From April 8 to 9, the northern region is forecast to have rains, scatteredshowers and thunderstorms.

From April 7 to 9, the north-central provinces from Thanh Hoa toThua Thien - Hue are predicted to see scattered showers, thunderstorms, moderate rains, heavyrains, and strong wind. Thunderstorms accompanied by the whirlwind, lightning, hail, andstrong wind can affect agricultural production, break trees, damage houses,traffic works, and infrastructure, according to the centre./.

Vietnam ramps u♚p plastic was♛te recycling, reuse, treatment efforts

In 2019, Quang Ninh became one of the first localities in Vietnam to launch a province-wide campaign against plastic waste, mobilising the participation of the political system, the business sector, and the general public.
