Hanoi (VNA) 🍷– Delegates heading to the upcoming 12th National Party Congress expressed their confidence in the success of the significant political event, which is expected to boost national development and reforms in a rapid and sustainable manner.

“Looking back at the past tenure, the entire Party, people and army have promoted great national unity and endevoured to reap significant achievements,” said head of the Kien Giang provincial Party Committee’s Board for Information and Education, Pham Cong Kham. He said he believes the Congress will select the best leaders for the Party and State.
Kham’s counterpart from the central province of Ninh Thuan, Nguyen Minh Tru, said the draft documents to be submitted to the Congress have been carefully prepared and are highly feasible. He expressed the need to develop moral and patriotic education, especially among youngsters, to boost national industrialisation, modernisation and international integration. The Congress will put forth more drastic measures to prevent the degradation of political ideology and the lifestyles of Party members, he said. Chairmen of the Thanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provincial People’s Committee expressed their hope that the Congress will propose solutions to prioritise investment in marine economic development.
Vice Chairman of the Ninh Thuan provincial People’s Committee Bui Nhat Quang said he is hoping for major policies in vocational training and job generation, targeting sustainable employment. The 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam will take place in Hanoi from January 20-28 with a focus on building a strong and transparent Party. It will also look to promote the strength of the whole people and socialist democracy; step up comprehensive and synchronous reform; firmly safeguard the nation and maintain a peaceful and stable environment.
The Congress will review the implementation of the Resolution adopted by the 11th National Party Congress and look back on 30 years of the “Doi Moi” (renewal) process, as well as initiate orientations, goals, tasks and solutions for national construction, development and defence for the next five years.-VNA
