Export of electric wire and cable earned Vietnam nearly 1.6 billion USD in the January-November period, up 24.7 percent compared to the same period last year, according to statistics of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Hanoi (VNA) 🌊– Export of electricwire and cable earned Vietnam nearly 1.6 billion USD in the January-Novemberperiod, up 24.7 percent compared to the same period last year, according tostatistics of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The figure forNovember alone was 150 million USD. High growth wasseen in the export of the products to China, Japan and the Republic of Koreathis year. China alone spent530.79 million USD to import electric wire and cable from Vietnam in the first 10months of the year, an increase of 39.1 percent year on year. Meanwhile, thevalue of shipments to the RoK went up by 34.46 percent, and that to Japan, by 21.46percent. At present,Vietnam has more than 200 enterprises producing and exporting electric wire andcable. -VNA
