Entitled Light fromthe Revolutionary Path, the exhibition will be held at the Vietnam NationalMuseum of History to mark the 90th anniversary of the first publication of thebook.

With more than 150documents, artefacts, and photos, the exhibition will introduce to the publicthe book’s great significance as well as the revolutionary generation’scontribution - the first “red seeds” that Nguyen Ai Quoc, an alias of Ho ChiMinh, germinated for the Vietnamese Revolution, according to Nguyen Van Cuong, the museum’s director.

“This book helps the younggeneration learn more about the leader’s great ideas, vision and revolutionarymethods,” he said. “Thereby, it contributes to arouse patriotism, nationalpride to protect and build the country.”

The book included lectures by Nguyen AiQuoc at training courses for staff of the Vietnamese Revolutionary YouthLeague, held in Guangzhou, China, between 1925 and 1927. The first printedversions were moved secretly to French controlled Vietnam before 1930.

The book is said to be one of the greatworks in terms of revolutionary theory and practice. Through the book, Nguyen AiQuoc, the first Vietnamese communist, presented the essence of Marxist-Leninistrevolutionary doctrine and the Vietnamese revolution’s basic developmentdirection in the most intelligible way.

This book played an important role inpropagating Marxism-Leninism in Vietnam in the late 1920s. Following theguiding line of Revolutionary Path, the first students came back to Viet Nam toprepare for the foundation of the Vietnam Communist Party in 1930. They alsoled the successful August General Uprising in 1945 to found the DemocraticRepublic of Vietnam and open a new era in  the nation’s history.

The book currently stored at the museumis one of the few original prints of 1927 and was recognised as a NationalTreasure in 2012.

The exhibition will also introduce someobjects used by Communist Party’s leaders and soldiers between 1925-1945. Adocumentary film will also be shown.-VNA
