With 4.23 out of the 5 points, Ha Long Bay is placed at the fourth position.

Itfollows the Hallasan National Park (the Republic of Korea), the TarokoNational Park (China’s Taiwan), and the Osaka Castle Park (Japan).

Thelast four destinations are the Ang Thong National Marine Park and theKhao Yai National Park (Thailand), the Penang National Park (Malaysia),and the Rizal Park (the Philippines).

The list includesnational parks which are suitable for outdoor activities and greenspaces in the middle of cities with important historical backgrounds.

The rankings are based on feedbacks of customers and analysis of booking information on Agoda.com.

Ha Long Bay covers 1,553 square kilometres and counts 1,969 islands of various sizes.

On December 17, 1994, the bay was officially listed as a WorldHeritage site with globally outstanding value in terms of naturallandscape by UNESCO.

In 2011, it surpassed 261other landscapes around the world to be voted as one of the seven newnatural wonders of the world.-VNA
