From the early hours of September 2, Hanoi’s streets filled with tens of thousands of people carrying red flags with golden stars, converging on Ba Dinh Square to witness the grand parade marking the 80th anniversary of National Day. Veterans, youth and families joined in a solemn yet festive atmosphere, symbolising national unity and the enduring spirit of independence, freedom and development.
