HCM City (VNA) 🎶– The Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo 2025 (ITE HCMC 2025) attracted more than 46,000 visitors, including international buyers, journalists and social media influencers, according to organisers.
The event took place from September 4 to 6 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Tan My ward, with an expanded scale and connections to the Export Forum 2025 and the “International Supply Chain Connectivity” event.

At the closing ceremony, HCM City was honoured with the TPO Best 2025 awards, held within the framework of ITE HCMC. The recognition came for the city’s campaign “Find Your Vibes”, praised for its creative approach to showcasing Ho Chi Minh City’s identity as both culturally rich and modern, dynamic.
The award, presented by the Tourism Promotion Organisation for Global Cities (TPO), highlights innovative marketing strategies that enhance destination value and contribute to sustainable tourism development./.
Delegates from TPO member cities focused their discussions on five priorities: creating a cross-border cooperation framework for smart tourism, fostering green tourism through international partnerships, advancing digital and green transition strategies, enhancing economic and cultural connectivity via cross-border tourism, and defining the role of mayors in shaping supportive policies for smart and green tourism at the local level, while deepening cross-border collaboration within the TPO network.
A series of major trade and tourism connectivity events opened on September 4 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, featuring Vietnam International Sourcing (VIS) 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Export Forum, and the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) 2025.
