Hanoi (VNA) – National Assembly deputies will discuss the ratification of theComprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP)and related documents on November 5 morning as part of their ongoing sixthsession.

The deputies debated ingroups on the matter on November 2.

The same day, thedeputies will listen to a report on the pilot implementation of Resolution No.30/2016/QH14 on the issuance of e-visa for foreigners to enter Vietnam beforediscussing the extension of the measure.

In the afternoon, theywill give ideas on a number of contents of the draft Law on Vietnam Coast Guard,which comprises of eight chapters and 48 articles.

They will focus on theuse of weapons, supporting tools, explosives and professional technicalvehicles and equipment; the scope of activities of Vietnam Coast Guard inVietnamese waters; and the operational coordination of Vietnam Coast Guard.-VNA
