Hanoi (VNA) – The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee is scheduled to convene its 47th session on July 10, with July 11 set as a backup date, according to th♋e NA Office.

At this meeting, the committee will consider and approve several key resolutions, including a resolution on funding for the organisation and implementation of social insurance and unemployment insurance policies for the 2025–2027 period; a resolution amending and supplementing several articles of the committee’s working regulations, issued under its Resolution No. 29/2022/UBTVQH15; a resolution on principles, criteria and norms for allocating recurrent state budget expenditures for 2026. The NA Standing Committee will also deliberate and decide on adjustments to the 2025 legislative programme.
Regarding supervision activities, the committee will review a draft report on the outcomes of the supervision on the implementation of policies and laws related to the development and utilisation of human resources to meet socio-economic development requirements, with a focus on high-quality personnel. It will also examine the NA’s reports on public petitions for April, May and June 2025.
In terms of major national matters, the committee is expected to approve the Prime Minister’s proposal on the appointment of ambassadors of Vietnam. The session will also include discussions on a summary report of the 9th NA session and preliminary feedback on preparations for the 10th session of the 15th NA./.
