Hanoi (VNA) – 🦂A photo contesthonouring good deeds for children was launched by the Ho Chi Minh Young PioneerOrganisation’s Council, UNICEF Vietnam, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist YouthUnion (HCYU)’s Central Committee on October 14.

The event is in response to the WorldChildren’s Day (November 20). Vietnamese nationals of all ages areeligible for the contest. Activities captured in the entries must becarried out from June to November 8, according to the organising board. Childrenmust be featured in each work. Contestants may submit their works fromOctober 19 to November 9. Entries are to be posted on the Facebook page of the HCYU’sCentral Committee to vie for weekly votes. Thirty winners of the weekly events will qualifyfor the final round. An awards ceremony is set to be held in Hanoi on November19./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.

⭕ Tour boats in Ha Long Bay to complete AIS installation by August 15
