Prime Minister arrives in Tokyo for official visit to Japan

Tokyo (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, hisspouse and a high-ranking delegation of the government arrived at Haneda International Airport in Tokyo at2:30 pm (local time) of June 4, beginning his five-day official visit to Japan,and for attendance of the 23rdInternational Conference on the Future of Asia, at the invitation of JapanesePM Shinzo Abe.

As scheduled, an official welcome ceremony and talks between PM NguyenXuan Phuc and his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe will take place on June 6.

During his stay, the Vietnamese Government leader will deliver a speech at the openingceremony of the 23rd InternationalConference on the Future of Asia, and have a dialogue with participants.

He will preside over an investment promotion conference in Tokyo, and witnessthe signing of cooperation agreements between ministries, sectors andenterprises of the two countries.

The Vietnamese official will also meet with local officials of Japan, andrepresentatives from the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association, and trade organisations.-VNA
