Public Security Ministry aids Hanoi in launching COVID-19 prevention software

The Ministry of Public Security has assisted Hanoi in implementing four applications on the national population database platform to serve the capital’s COVID-19 prevention and control.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry of Public Security has assisted Hanoiin implementing four applications on the national population database platformto serve the capital’s COVID-19 prevention and control.

The software helpsensure the principles of reforming and simplifying administrativeprocedures, thus facilitating activities of people and businesses.

To effectively implement these applications,Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh has tasked the HanoiDepartment of Information and Communications with joining the local police indrafting reports on their implementation and building related scenarios and a roadmapfor their immediate launch.

The police have been assigned to work withrelevant agencies in building specific plans on issuing travel permits viaapplications in line with the directions of the municipal Party Committee’sstanding board and People’s Committee. They will also make recommendations onthe building of risk-level criteria for different areas in the city.

Other public agencies and sectors havebeen set to support the municipal Department of Information and Communications and police agency in their works, serving the localcurrent and long-term pandemic prevention and control./.
