Quang Nam builds new bridge

“The bridge is important to Quang Nam ’s socio-economic development,”PM Dung emphasised at the ground-breaking ceremony, praising localpeople who had given their land for the bridge, which is the biggestinvestment project in the locality so far.

Estimated to cost nearly 2.5 trillion VND, the Cua Dai bridge isdesigned to have a total length of 18.3 km, including 1.48 km crossingover the Thu Bon river.

Once completed, the bridge will serve as a strategic transportationroute for Quang Nam province in particular and the central region ingeneral.

It is part of a trans-national coastal land route plan tailored by theGovernment in a bid to establish a trans-regional transportationcorridor linking Quang Nam’s eastern area with the central city of DaNang, the ancient town of Hoi An, and other major economic zones nearby.

Earlier on August 29, Quang Nam authorities welcomed PM Dung and otherGovernment officials to the My Son relic site in the locality which hasbeen recognised as a world cultural heritage./.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
