Reference exchange rate goes down by 1 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam slashed its reference VND/USD exchange rate by 1 VND to 22,425 VND/USD on the morning of December 29.

– The State Bank of Vietnam slashed its reference VND/USD exchange rate by1 VND to 22,425 VND/USD on the morning of December 29.
 
With the current /- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 23,088 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,752 VND per USD.

Major commercial banks kept their rates stable.

Vietcombank and Vietinbank offered the same rates with 22,675 VND (buying) and 22,745VND (selling), per USD, unchanged from the morning of the day earlier.

BIDV posted 22,680 VND (buying), and 22,750 VND (selling), per USD, unchangedfrom the day ago.-VNA

𓆏 Maximum fine of 3,000 USD proposed for violating invoice regulations

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
