Hanoi (VNA) – The daily reference exchange rate for VND/USDwas set at 22,443 VND on August 31, up 5 VND from the day before.
With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate appliedfor commercial banks during the day is 23,116 VND and the floor rate 21,770 VNDper USD.
Meanwhile, the opening hour rates at major commercial banks stayed flatfor another day.
Both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 22,695 VND and theselling rate 22,765 VND per USD, the same as on August 30.
