Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam raised the dailyreference exchange rate for May 22 to 22,595 VND/USD, up 5 VND from theprevious day.
With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate appliedto commercial banks during the day is 23,272 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,918VND/USD.
Meanwhile, the opening hour rates at major commercial banks declinedslightly compared to May 21.
Both Vietcombank and BIDV are listing their buying rate at 22,740VND/USD and selling rate at 22,810 VND/USD, down 5 VND.
Techcombank kept its rates unchanged at 22,725 VND/USD (buying) and22,825 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
The State Bank of Vietnam adjusted the daily reference exchange rate down 18 VND to 22,560 VND/USD on May 11, reversing the rising trend since the beginning of the week.
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate on May 14 at 22,550 VND/USD, down 10 VND from the last working day of previous week (May 11).
Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels.
