Reference exchange rate up 5 VND at week’s beginning

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,170 VND/USD on October 11, up 5 VND from the last working day of previous week (October 8). ​

Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,170 VND/USD onOctober 11, up 5 VND from the last working day of previous week (October 8).

With the current trading bandof +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applicable to commercial banks during theday is 23,864 VND/USD and the ceiling rate 22,475 VND/USD.

The opening-hour rate atcommercial banks stayed stable.

At 8:30 am, Vietcombank listedthe buying rate at 22,630 VND/USD (buying) and the selling rate 22,860 VND/USD(selling).

BIDV also kept both ratesunchanged from October 8 at 22,660 VND/USD (buying) and 22,860 VND/USD (selling)./.
