Reference exchange rate up on November 6

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,258 VND/USD on November 6, up 10 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,258 VND/USD on November 6, up 10 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,471 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,045 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw increases.

At 8:29am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,170 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,470 VND/USD, up 50 VND and 10 VND, respectively, from November 5.

BIDV posted the buying rate at 25,160 VND/USD and the selling ra🃏te at 25,470 VND/USD, both up 20 VND and 10 VND, respectively./.
