SSI receives 55 mln USD trust loan from foreign partners

The Saigon Securities Incorporation (SSI) and a group of seven foreign financial institutions, led by Taiwan’s SinoPac bank, signed a trust loan contract worth 55 million USD during a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on March 21.

HCM City (VNA) – The Saigon SecuritiesIncorporation (SSI) and a group of seven foreign financial institutions, led byTaiwan’s SinoPac bank, signed a trust loan contract worth 55 million USD duringa ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on March 21.

The loan will help SSI diversify its financial structure andbalance credit quotas at preferential costs.

It is also the first time a Vietnamese securities companyhas been provided with such large-scale credit to last three years. It will beused in short-term and low-risk investments or margin lending.

Sinopac spoke highly of SSI’s steady growth over the past fewyears and its contributions to the common development of the Vietnamese securitiesmarket since its establishment.

SSI has a charter capital of over 5.1 trillion VND (221million USD) and a total asset worth over 23.8 trillion VND. The owners’ equityaccounts for 38 percent of the total capital, or more than 9.1 trillion VND. –VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
