Bangkok (VNA) –
Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce will host the CLMVTForum 2018 on August 17-18 in Bangkok. 

This year’s event will be attended byhigh-ranking officials from member nations, namely Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar,Vietnam, and Thailand. 

Themed “CLMVT Taking-off Through Technology,” theforum will focus on technology and innovations that change the world ofbusiness and increase the abilities of the young generation, as well as enhancethe competitiveness of small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startupoperators in the digital era. 

The forum aims to strengthen the bloc's sharedprosperity in line with sustainable development principles and to buildregional networks among top business people, new entrepreneurs, leading policymakers, academics and the younger generations of the CLMVT countries. -VNA
